One thing is certain – our campus would not be the same if it weren’t for our lively students. From student groups to campus activities and events, our students have many opportunities to socialize, network and participate in various aspects of campus life.

Student groups
One of the best ways students can get involved and augment their academic work is to participate in student groups. Many of these groups are offered for specific program areas, such as criminal justice, paralegal, accounting and veterinary technology. Other groups such as Student Ambassadors and DEX are open to all students. What student group is right for you?
Student appreciation
Throughout the year, our staff helps to arrange student appreciation days – our way of giving our students an opportunity to relax, socialize, refuel with food and have fun. Some student appreciation activities include tie-dye parties, costume contests, block parties, fund-raising and inevitably providing some delicious food. No matter the agenda, student appreciation days are guaranteed to give students a break from their studies.
Network with peers and professionals
Get a head start in your search for a career by participating in the many networking opportunities we schedule throughout the year. You can talk with others in your area of study – including potential employers – by attending career fairs, participating in externships, listening to guest speakers and even chatting with your fellow students. You can also take advantage of many of the activities organized by career services to help build your professional network.
