Who attends MSB-St. Cloud

Military Students

MSB-St. Cloud has a notable military population. With a Veterans Affairs office just blocks away and Camp Ripley a short distance to the north on Highway 10, active duty, reserve, veterans and their families find themselves at home at our campus. We have a dedicated Military Student Services department that is here to help our military students with all aspects of their education.

High School Students

Our student body includes recent high school graduates and high school seniors. Eligible high school seniors enjoy benefits of special programs and scholarships that recognize early enrollment, high achievement or allow seniors to take tuition-free college classes before graduation. Our staff understands the new responsibilities that high school students face as they enter college and can help make the transition as seamless as possible. Adult Learners

Programs at our campus appeal to non-traditional students and adult learners who cannot take classes during the day, who want a practical alternative to a traditional college or who need flexible scheduling options. Our admissions department, education staff and student services department work together to make sure that adult students – even those who have full-time jobs or who care for families – are able to complete their college programs.

Student involvement

There’s more to our campus life than attending classes – our students can attest to it. We offer a number of ways for students to get involved in events on and off campus, including student appreciation days, student groups and associations and miscellaneous activities scheduled throughout the year.
