One way you can help pay for college education is through scholarships offered internally through our school and externally through other organizations and programs. At Minnesota School of Business (MSB)-St. Cloud, we offer a number of scholarship programs to help defray the cost of school.

What scholarship programs are available?
MSB-St. Cloud scholarships are available to eligible students to assist with college tuition, fees and books. Students are encouraged to pursue the following scholarship programs:
- Director’s Academic Scholarship. Students who take the Career Profile Assessment test (CPAt) may be eligible for this scholarship. Award amounts are up to $5,000, depending on the test results.
- Dream Act Scholarship. Minnesota high school graduates with undocumented immigrant status may be eligible for this program, which awards 50% of the cost of their college programs.
- High School Advantage. Through this program, a high school senior may be eligible to take up to four college courses free of tuition. The student must have a GPA of 2.0 or higher and be enrolled in a B.S. or A.A.S. program at our school.
- Military Active Duty Scholarship. This scholarship program gives eligible active-duty US service members or their families an award of an amount equal to the difference between the current tuition rate and $250.
- Military Service Scholarship. This scholarship is intended for US veterans and families of veterans who have been injured serving in Afghanistan or Iraq. To be eligible for this program, students must prove they participated in the Severely Injured Joint Operations Center or, in the case of spouses and dependents, provide proof of family status. Students who receive the award may receive between $1,000 and $5,000 to apply towards tuition.
- Military Advantage Scholarship. This scholarship covers 10% of the cost of tuition and books per quarter for qualifying students and is intended to supplement other military education benefits such as the GI Bill.
- President’s Scholarship. A high school senior with a 2.0 GPA or higher who applies to the college early in the senior year may qualify for the President’s Scholarship. The amount awarded is $2,000 for an application received before January 1st or $1,000 for an application received before April 1st.
- Purple Heart Scholarship. This scholarship covers the remaining tuition and fees after other forms of financial aid have been applied, such as GI bill benefits or federal and state financial aid programs. It is intended for US military service members and veterans who were injured in the Gulf Wars, or for family members of those killed in action in the Gulf Wars.
- Community Service Scholarship. Students must complete at least one term at our school to qualify for this award.
- Business Alliance Scholarship. Students must be currently employed by organizations approved by GU/MSB business alliance strategic partners to qualify for this award. Scholarship amount equals 10% of the cost of tuition for master's, bachelor's and associate degree programs.
- Professional Certification Scholarship. Eligible students who receive this scholarship will be reimbursed for certification exam fees in areas such as information technology, ccounting, massage therapy and medical assistant.
