Manipulate the image, change the message
Professionals in this field learn to tweak words, images and composition in a visual piece to evoke a certain emotion or message. In our IMGD program, you’ll study essential elements of graphic design, including color theory, digital imaging, typography and composition. You’ll learn how to apply those skills and concepts to create your own visual messages.
Practice your skills on the latest industry software. You will be assigned a Mac workstation in our dedicated lab, where you will learn the tools of the trade.
Learn the business of graphic design
Students in our IMGD associate degree program also study business—marketing, advertising, promotion and office skills. This training helps them work more effectively in business settings and gives them entrepreneurial skills for freelancing and small business management.
