Choose an associate degree or diploma program

Medical Administrative Assistant Diploma. Enroll in this program and graduate in just one year. You’ll learn skills in business, office management and medical practices and procedures. When you graduate, you’ll be ready to take a job as a medical bookkeeper, office manager, medical transcriptionist or records clerk.

Associate in Applied Science in Medical Administrative Assistant.  This program is a good choice if you want to supplement your technical training with a courses in general education. Take classes that strengthen your communication and critical thinking skills. Earn a college degree in 18 months.  

Job availability

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, medical administrative assistants can look forward to excellent job prospects.* They are employed in physicians’ offices, clinics and hospitals.  Graduates of our MAA programs may find jobs as medical office managers, patient relations representatives, ward secretaries and medical administrative assistants.
