Associate Degree in Health Fitness Specialist

Bachelor’s Degree in Health Fitness Specialist
If you enroll in the 4-year degree program, you will build on fundamental studies with advanced courses in management, youth fitness development and sales and marketing for the fitness and exercise industry.
Supplement your work by attending cutting-edge seminars. Electives in the bachelor’s degree program allow you to earn nationally recognized certifications in Muscle Activation TechniquesTM and Resistance Training Specialist. To earn those credentials, you will attend seminars offered at various locations—on and off campus.
Take the health fitness management route. You may choose electives that focus on the business side of health fitness. In these electives, you’ll learn subjects such as recruitment and retention, training and development, service marketing and change management.
Complete your classes online or on campus
Minnesota School of Business-St. Cloud offers this program online and on campus. This allows students to complete college degrees on their own terms.
- Our online college offers the same support as our campuses. It also gives students the flexibility to take classes where and when they want. Travel may be necessary if an online student chooses Muscle Activation TechniquesTM or Resistance Training Specialist as an elective.
- Students who complete coursework on-campus enjoy practical training in our fitness lab. They can use the fitness facilities at any time.
MSB-St. Cloud students can also take a combination of online and on-campus courses.
