First, general business—then choose an emphasis

In our business management program, you first complete general business courses, and then take courses that focus on one of six emphases offered at our St. Cloud campus. The entire “4-year” program can be completed in three years of full-time study.

  • Agriculture Business – Learn the essential concepts that govern the business of agriculture. Study cooperatives, agricultural finance and food distribution strategies.
  • Finance – Study topics in economics, derivatives, statistics and investments. Prepare for positions in production management or claims investigations.
  • Hospitality Management – Gain skills in service management, recruitment and retention. Find a leadership position in a casino, cruise ship company, hotel or catering business.
  • Human Resource Management – Find out how to maximize the potential of human capital. Learn how to make a business or organization run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Marketing – Learn how to promote a brand. Study advertising, consumer behavior, sales management, Internet marketing and market research.
  • Music Business – Combine a passion for music with fundamental business skills. Prepare for a position in event promotion, music retail management or music marketing.

You may choose to complete some or all coursework online

Classes in our Business Management program can be completed entirely online with the exception of some music business courses. Online college allows you to complete projects and class assignments on a schedule that works for you. With online classes, you also have the freedom to attend class wherever it is most convenient – whether it’s in the comfort of your own home or during lunch break at the office.
