You Can Have It All in St. Cloud

Located in the heart of Granite Country, St. Cloud, Minnesota, is a vibrant city with much to offer to college students, residents and visitors. Only 60 miles from the Twin Cities (Minneapolis-St. Paul) metropolitan area, our St. Cloud campus has all the benefits of a big city school while still retaining a small town feel. And with beautiful parks, historic buildings and plenty of shopping, restaurants and entertainment, students at our campus have plenty of opportunities to take a break from studying and enjoy what the city has to offer.

Parks and Recreation

St. Cloud is fortunate to have great parks and recreational areas in and around town. The Mississippi River curves through the city, providing the perfect backdrop for Wilson Park and Riverside Park on the east river bank, and on the west bank, Beaver Island Park, Hester Park and the Beaver Island Trail.

Near our St. Cloud campus is Quarry Park. Once a bustling granite quarry, it now provides visitors with opportunities for swimming, fishing, skiing, biking, hiking and snowshoeing.

Adjacent to the Mississippi is Munsinger Garden, one of the city’s oldest parks, where visitors can view Lily Pond Fountain, the Timekeeper’s Cabin, the rock garden and the picturesque gazebo. Another historic park, the Clemens Gardens, is home to a formal garden with granite pathways and the Virginia Clemens Rose Garden, where about 70 varieties of roses and over a thousand blooms during peak season.

Restaurants and entertainment

Wondering what you can do for fun in our city? For a bit of culture, make a stop at the Paramount Theater and Visual Arts Center, one of St. Cloud’s major historical landmarks. The building includes an art gallery, visual arts center classrooms, and a beautiful stage for live performances of all kinds.
