College accreditation, whether national or regional, is only granted to schools that are held to rigorous standards of education and academic delivery. Schools that are recognized by accrediting agencies listed as nationally recognized accrediting agencies by the U.S. Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) are also eligible for federal and state funding. Many employers favor candidates who received training and credentials from accredited schools. MSB-St. Cloud has two program- and campus-specific accreditations. Our Medical Assisting programs are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP) and our Veterinary Technology programs are accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA).
